The Rutgers Community Arts Guitar Ensemble
Leighann also directs the The Rutgers Community Arts Guitar Ensemble.

It provides guitarists of all levels with the opportunity to experience making music in a conductor-led ensemble. A guitar ensemble may range in size from a larger chamber group (e.g./ 7-12 players), or even an orchestra! Students learn and perform compositions and arrangements from a variety of musical styles and eras. Students must supply their own acoustic guitars (classical, nylon string preferred). Music will be provided. Click here for more information or to sign up.

Home Studio
Leighann also teaches classical guitar lessons in her home studio in Maplewood, New Jersey (near the high school). She offers virtual (online) lessons and will offer in-person again when NJ state guidelines permit. She enjoys teaching all ages and levels- from beginners without prior experience; preparing students for College auditions to music schools as well as adults for pure enjoyment and advancement. She teaches the nylon 6-string classical or Spanish guitar and specializes in teaching the use of all the fingers on the plucking hand. Come & love playing guitar.
